The famous eagle and child pub, where has born the inklings group and where J.R.R. Tolkien started to write his amazing trilogy . Furthermore the place it's very nice. Warm and welcoming, and you will have a good ale and beer with nice food.

Steeped in history, this traditional pub has stood at this site for centuries and used to be the favorite hang-out for JRR Tolkien and Charles Lewis. a great nook to go for a drink in!
