I had lunch on a Saturday afternoon, and I was not impressed at all by the sweet potato/black eyed beans curries my girlfriend and I were served. The rice was sticky and overcooked, and the curry itself not really tasty. The side salads were alright. Scarce portions too. Our friend's veggie lasagne was nothing more than ok. The place itself... Have been for tea and lunch over Christmas and both were lovely. Such a cosy gem and so lovely that the pots and cups are handmade and the same as they have been since my childhood! Great food and really nice to have home cooked healthy options.

The Nosebag reminds me of the erstwhile Cranks (near Leicester Square), cosy & great variety of wholesome food. Would eat here every time in Oxford. Excellent.

I've been going to the Nosebag for over 10 years. Very glad still as good as ever! All food home cooked and very nutritious. Portions are big! Menu is things like quiche, lasagne, curries, salads (rice, potato, as well as greens). Lovely cosy atmosphere with wooden tables, chairs, beams. Give Pret a miss and have a proper lunch at the... Been here a few times, never disapoints, yummy and great value. I particularly love the rustic feel of the restaurant. Vegan friendly too.

Have been here multiple times now. Friendly staff and cosy environment. Come early as can get busy during lunchtime. Their lamb stew is wonderful and their cakes are delicious. Very decent portions. Highly recommended!

We were after a simple sit down lunch. Oxford was hectic and is was nice to find a quiet, even on a busy lunchtime, place to stop. Between Gluten Free, Vegetarian and having food allergies we were a picky group and this suited us all. Two of us opted for a Jacket Potato with Cottage Cheese and Pineapple(you can mix... More

Really lovely home cooked food, tasty, although I thought a little under seasoned for me. Nice atmosphere, glad we got there at 12 as it was very busy!!!

Had Sunday lunch with the family. Small choice of mains but all were good. Style won't suit everyone. Canteen type corner to get your food, find your own table. Good atmosphere, seems v popular with students. Good value. Bit noisy.
