Lovey pub, the lamps look like they were originally has lamps. Very friendly staff, had a nice chat. We had a nice lunch, which was very good value for money. Highly recommend.

Had a BLT with GF roll which was very good. The bacon was top quality and well cooked. Friends variously had bean casserole, spicy chicken burger and a large fish finger sandwich, all of which were freshly prepared.

We literally popped into The Royal after a day of walking and the blessings were all ours. Great beers ours were Milestone Black Pearl on tap (yum), amazing home cooked Scotch Egg and Pork Pie- we had second helpings through the afternoon to accompany our brews and live football. The signs around the pub walls are most amusing. And the... More

It's a friendly, traditional, informal pub, centrally located. The evening meal choice is limited but the food is great! The sandwich/rolls lunch menu looked really good. They cater for vegans. The main meal was so nice we weren't bothered by the lack of choice in sweets. The beer was good too. Nearest carpark seems to be Oxpens - a 4 minute... More

The title says it... still warm, just cooked, slightly peppery. Best scotch egg ever! Great with a pint in this warm and welcoming pub.

This is our favourite pub in Oxford, a gem just round the corner from the main shopping street, we often walk past numerous pubs to get to this one. Great homemade snacks, always friendly and helpful staff, and an interesting, changing selection of beers and cider. Hands-down our favourite pub in Oxford.

Visited early Friday evening and what a difference from when I usually visit at lunch times. Quite loud chatter from the pub when I approached and inside found lots of people talking within the groups, so could not hear any music if there was any - good. Although crowded but pleasant I was served quickly by staff that were polite... More

Let me start this post by saying that the people who work at The Royal Blenheim are wonderful. When my husband and I visited, we had a lot of little issues with our meal, but the people made up for it in spades because I could tell that they cared, about me and about their pub. It really warmed my... More

Description
We are a traditional street corner pub from the Victorian era. Inside we have 10 handpulls serving a wide range of well kept local and regional beers, including the White Horse Brewery (Oxfordshire) for which the Royal Blenheim is the brewery tap - the only one of its kind in the city Oxford. With BT Sport available on up to four screens we will be showing a variety of sports with a focus on rugby...possibly the best place in Oxford for a rugger get together! We have a Facebook page which we would encourage you to 'like' as that is one of the best ways of staying up to date on what we have going on here. We believe in making and cooking proper homemade food with a focus on fresh ingredients, mostly sourced from the Covered Market and other local suppliers. Our menus will be seasonal with an aim to use 'in season' ingredients to create simple yet wholesome dishes. As well as a weekly Wednesday Quiz Night (come early to get a a table) we hope to stage regular Open Mic nights as a showcase for local musicians of all styles and levels...If that's you please get in touch with us, thanks.
