These guys know their coffee. I love that they test and implement different grind levels and extraction times for the various beans they offer. Their house bean (revelation) is superb but do ask about their guest bean. My favourite is the Bobolink bean which they were kind enough to source for me to take home for my own machine. This... Some of the best pancakes in Oxford at a very reasonable price. Staff are always friendly, the cafe is warm and nicely lit. Not an amazingly decorated place but the new paintings are nice.

Probably the only place in Oxford to have a decent coffee. The staff was very friendly and seemed to be a relaxed atmosphere.

Nice place to have breakfast or brunch.. the poached eggs are great, with salmon or ham (7.50). With eggs the tea or coffee are free refill :)

I stop here most mornings as the coffee is so much better than my closer Nero and you always, yes always, get a friendly comment from the owner. What better way to start the day than good coffee and a smile!

Super crowded on a Saturday morning, yet the staff were more interested in chatting among themselves instead of attending to the long line of customers. Our food arrived without cutlery and even though we requested them from the waitress we eventually had to go collect them ourselves from the counter. The rosti was more of a hash brown than a... Go here for a relaxed coffee-it's not the kind of place to get a quick coffee to go (in a hurry). People at next tables had breakfast options, which looked good. Really nice dessert options to accompany the coffee - peanut butter stacks, cookie dough cheesecake etc.

Not always easy to find a good coffee, of New Zealand standard, in the UK but I found it here. And much more. Enjoy!

Wasn't overly impressed with the food, hygiene levels weren't great, several stained plates and cutlery. Decent atmosphere overall, and pancakes are nice. Worth a try if looking for decent priced brunch in Oxford.
