On the off chance, we came across this restaurant and dropped in as we needed to eat. It was a Saturday evening, but a table was found for us. The room was buzzing, the food was excellent, the service was exemplary, and the price of the food was just right. This is a gem of a restaurant and one that... More

This small place is a bit off the beaten track but worth looking for. There is a lot of choice on curries compared to many other places. I found the lamb bhuna to be very good. It was quiet , and the service was good. The Swiss Movenpick ice cream was great.

We have traveled the UK for over 4 weeks and been generally disappointed in the quality and variety of food. At last an excellent restaurant that produced quality food and had a good knowledge of world cricket.

We had a great meal here, very tasty and the staff were wonderful, even though we asked for a table 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday night. Thanks, it was great.

Good food, worth the trip down the Banbury Road. Not the cheapest Indian food in Oxford but amongst the best. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, service pace acceptable. Food could be a little spicier when it says it is hot but other than that delicious. I'd recommend a visit.

I have a passion for Indian, and there's plenty of it in the UK, but I think this is by far the nicest. The menu is outstanding, the service great and the food absolutely delicious. We were already delighted with the popadoms and the chutney tray at the beginning, and could've continued snacking on that forever! I ordered the lamb... More

We are from NY and have been eating Indian food for many years. This was one of the best. The food and service was top shelf.

This restaurant is tucked away in one of the quieter areas of Oxford just off Banbury Road. It was quiet while other restaurants were very busy but it obviously had a large number of regulars and locals, always a good sign. The chef has had the imagination to explore many corners of indian cuisine outside the usual list of curries... More
