Beautiful meal, Gluten free options good. It gave the feeling of elegance and comfort. Great menu and wine list. We went to celebrate our daughter's graduation with her supervisors and it fulfilled all our expectations.

Went there for an afternoon tea with my mother, it was a good treat but nothing special. The ambience though is quite pleasant and cosy on a Monday afternoon. Scones with jam were indeed tasty but the rest sweets could have been better. Was happy they had a good selection for teas

The Old Parsonage's myth crumbled as soon as we tried its food. It is appalling to charge that much for such low quality. Service was negligent. I would only recommend it for a glass of wine or champagne close to the fireplace.

A reasonable meal, nice kidneys but undercooked chips in dirty metal cups. The stand out thing was the menu, a total rip off of that at Quo Vadis in Soho London. Sad that the chef / owners can't have their own original ideas!

Just arrived home from afternoon tea at the OPH. (finally made use of a Christmas present voucher from last year!). Pleasant, cosy atmosphere, interesting dining room decor ('traditional' but not twee), good quality sandwiches, scones and cakes, excellent tea (I had the OP blend which I really enjoyed) and immaculate friendly service. I can see this becoming a regular treat... More

Four of us enjoyed an extremely good evening meal in the lovely surroundings of this ancient building. The staff were all attentive, polite and efficient and the food was excellent. Would recommend the crab starter, the mallard main course and the plum and almond tart to finish. A most enjoyable evening.

One of the most enjoyable dinners for a long time. Smart but informal and the low ceilings made it more informal compared to Randolph where we were staying. Convenient for meeting family who were staying at Keble College. I started with crab and then had turbot. Friends had the devilled kidneys. Some nice wine pics including verdecchio from Matelica (best... More
