We when with Groupon voucher so not to bad but wauld not pay £27 full prize as the fish was very greasy and the tartar sauce was bland staff was friendly .

We were staying at the Copthorne hotel on a Friday evening and decided to eat here as they had a Christmas set menu on...3 courses for £22.50. Food was good but portion sizes were small...the salmon fish cakes starter turned out to be one fish...More
Excellent buffet breakfast with plenty of choice, staff very friendly. Large restaurant with spacious tables & comfortable seating.

Had dinner at the hotel restaurant, 10oz steak and the trimmings, cooked well, well presented and good value for money.
This restaurant could do with a bit of healthy injection. We ate there a couple of times and found too many deep fried options and not nearly enough salads and healthy options.
As a hotel guest I chose to eat in at 1855, The ‘stacked burger’ with an option of 2 sides is very good. The salad side, served on it's own slate, is a meal in its own right. 1855 is well worth a visit.
