Arranging my party by telephone and e-mail couldn't have been easier. From the welcome I got on arrival to the assistance I had leaving in a taxi with all my presents the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The buffet was excellent and my friends who rang me next day all said they'd had a wonderful time.

We dined here on a Saturday evening and as others have commented the service was very friendly, accommodating and warm. The food was fine but not particularly special and the prices were probably about right so its a nice place to go but not memorable

We booked this New Years Eve meal for 4 in advance after meeting up with family in Bath. In summary: Full house - excellent welcome with drinks and canapés. Great friendly service. 7 Courses - all excellent Would highly recommend and return there if visiting in the future. 5 mins from the centre of town. Always amazed when a place... More

Good service. Excellent lamb dish but fish daily special was a little disappointing. Good wines and reasonably priced. Pleasant restaurant room just out of the busy center of town.

The pub is a little bit away from the town centre but we were told that their tapas was very good. Unfortunately they only serve the tapas menu during the week. The menu was a little unusual and not to everyone's taste but the food was very good and the staff were great.

Pub feel but upper notch dining. How to say this - the staff were slow but did it in such a nice way that it was relaxing. They didn't ignore us, they were just busy, which I had no problem with because it meant we didn't feel rushed. The menu is varied, so something for everyone. Husband picked prawns off... More

Christmas spirit and relaxed atmosphere with great food. Had of late been to the White Hart to eat when in the area but this was a great step up on previous visits and Crayfish tian was fab as was the pannacotta. Always rate a restaurant by its pannacotta. I would have loved more honeycomb but that is my sweet tooth.... More

We had a very enjoyable evening at Ring O Bells. Starting with the amuse bouche we followed with the duck baked in hay. Coming from SW France the duck really has to perform to impress. Although the duck itself did not have the exquisite flavour and texture of local Magret (it never does in the UK) this dish was delicious.... More

Our party of six enjoyed a delicious meal on Saturday night. Bath was very busy due to a rugby match and Christmas market and the ring o bells was a welcome oasis. We enjoyed the cod daily special, rib eye steak (cooked perfectly) and finished off sharing cheese boards. The real ale was good and the wine choice excellent. The... More
