Came on a Saturday lunchtime. Chose the lunch menu: £7.95 for starter and main. Had the vegetable tempura and chicken green curry. Portion sizes just right. Nothing oustanding but a good value lunch all in all. Nice views of the Avon if you sit in the back. Just so you know they add service charge onto your bill.

Food was pretty poor. Standard deep fried mixed platter to start, then king prawns for a main which tastes like they had been in the freezer for a loooong time.

Our party of 4 stopped into Thai by the Weir in Bath for an early meal on a Sunday evening in December. We were seated in the lower level where we had a view of the river and Weir. Our server wasn't chatty, but quickly took our drinks order and returned for our meal order within 10 minutes. We chose... More

The location is very good and the views are great. The waiter was very kind and the food arrived fast, but the taste was just average.

Food looked and smelled fine, but we barely got to eat it as by the time we'd waited 40mins for a round of soft drinks, and 60 mins for starters, we couldn't wait to leave. Not good.

Was nearly put off this place because of trip adviser status but it suited our trip between car park and Roman Baths . We really loved it . Stuck to the basics ( tom yam , pad Thai, red curry, satay , papaya salad ,gyoza etc) because we were with the children , but everything fresh , hot and delicious .... More

We stopped to grab some lunch, very busy so we were seated at the rear but it was very crammed in so not comfortable for eating. Platter to share was nice but main meals were tasteless, shortage of bottled beer made us finish up quickly and leave. Not on our radar to return.

Great location but don't be fooled. Food is awful, feels like it's just been heated from days in the freezer. The Beef had a terrible smell and when we complained the owner shrugged his shoulders and blamed it coming from Australia???? Would never return far better choices further into the town. This place relays on location with way below average... More

The location is great the bacj of the restaraunt over looks the weir, thus the name. It is a massive restaraunt two floors of dinning area, the place is well lit and badly decorated. The waiter that was working the night of our visit was very grumpy and his grasp of english was poor. The Tom Yam soup was good,... More

Walked across Pulteney Bridge and found this quaint little cafe with river views. We had an entree and main with a drink. The food portions were only just enough and could have been bigger judging on price. A little disappointing and the poor wait staff could hardly speak English. Average to say the least.
