Popped in to taste the famous Sally Lynn Bun. It was delicious. Light & large! This is a must do experience when in Bath.

We stopped there after a day of walking around to grab tea and scones. We didn't know Sally had a famous "bunn" to her name! Try it, it's good (though it reminded me of a big hamburger bun from home). We didn't visit the museum...More

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious lunch at this very old and historic restaurant on Sept. 13/18. The server was friendly and attentive to our queries. The delicious lunch arrived in a timely manner. We truly enjoyed our lunch and the friendly staff. Would...More

Being a huge history fan and interested in food history as well, this was a required stop. It's lovely on the outside but rather dusty and unappealing inside, and both the sweet and savory buns were just okay.More

My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Sally Lunn's. We both had trenchers (chicken for me and duck for her) and wine and we were full and happy when we finished. The restaurant was full but staff was pleasant and accommodating.

I last visited Sally Lunn's nearly 30 years ago and still remember enjoying a lovely afternoon tea before returning home with a beautifully packaged "special bun". This time I took my husband and we were met by an unsmiling young woman who, without any greeting...More

This is an historic must do. We chose afternoon tea time for our visit and two in our party of four had the cream tea. Half a bun, toasted and served with delicious clotted cream and strawberry jam. A 3rd had cake. Very tight setting...More

We enjoyed our lunch here. The experience is unusual, with everything built around the history of the Sally Lunn's buns. We had buns with various savoury fillings, and one cinnamon bun. Very atmospheric experience, topped off by visiting the original oven in the basement.

We thoroughly enjoyed eating at Sally Lund. The soup was delicious and the desserts heavenly. And the service was quick and friendly. The added attraction to the charming place was the museum in the basement depicting the original kitchen Where Sally started her restaurant. Han

I had to go there, it's been established for so long and my Bath friends told me it was a must. It's quirky with small rooms and tight stairs, and they serve this toasted bun/bread with salty butter and then you add clotted cream and...More

Hi there - we are very dog friendly BUT sadly not dog suitable. Small tight spaces and many many people we do not feel are appropriate for dogs. In the past experiments showed that they and other guests become stressed and... More
