There is plenty of space here. Lots of tables, although the more comfortable outdoor dining, at proper chairs and tables is at a premium. A peaceful setting, and at a couple of miles from the city centre a good distance for a walk. The menu isn't vast, but it is offers a reasonable choice and prices are typical. Service isn't... More

After booking a room for 3 many months ago, we were told 24 hours ahead this was not possible! IWe had my 87 year old Mother-in-law with us, who could not speak English!

Hello Valerie were sorry about the hot water situation when you stayed , we cant just get a local technician in as they are not qualified and insured to deal with our boilers. We cant help if our hot water fails sometimes as it was only in the Hotel and not our pub, may I just be clear we have... More

Walked (5min) from Bath Marina Campsite. Change of menu meant a number of dishes were not available (awaiting delivery).Chain pub, but the food was good. Good service by the youthful team. Beer well priced, but the wine was expensive, though good. Enjoyed an evening out. Lots of outside space to enjoy by the river in good weather. Very convenient for... More

This is one of the best if not best pubs I have been to. the location is stunning and the food is outstanding. good range of drinks too. Service can be a bit slow but everything was so amazing we didn't care.

Lovely setting with friendly, hospitable staff and we were excited to order from the menu. 'Pie Tuesday' was a nonsense as there were only 4 beef and one other flavour pie left! We had to choose something from a VERY limited menu as most of it wasn't available. It was only about 5pm! We requested that we have the free... More

Maybe we caught this place on a bad day - have previously visited for a drink and decided to pop in for a quick lunch off the fixed price two course menu. Sadly the Mac N Cheese was unavailable. The whitebait starter was served to us promptly on the decked terrace but after that we seemed forgotten. After a 45... More

I send my sincere apologies for the experience you have had at our pub. We have recently changed management and are continually working hard together to improve our service and unfortunately from your feedback that the service wasn't up to the standards we are wanting to achieve. We are currently in the process of changing our menu which will be... More

Tried to order half a dozen things on the menu with no joy. Then tried to order side dishes instead - no joy! Pub was a mess with surly staff and no interest in conversation with customers, collecting an empty glass or clearing a plate. Really disappointed. Clearly relying on their beautiful location.

We stayed at The Boathouse for an Easter bank holiday weekend break and really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful establishment. it is set right on the banks of the river and it was a pleasure to sit on the balcony with a drink and watch the boats go by so very peaceful. Our room was very clean and spacious... More

The waitress was very helpful and catered for my daughter and my gluten intolerance by arranging an alternative food choice off the menu.

Thank you for a lovely meal. Beautiful setting for a pub, dog friendly - dog bed and treats... fab idea! Veggie food options really good, curry quite spicey but I was given lots of yogart and it was yummy. Baked camembert sharer to start was amazing and the chocolate fondant pudding finished it off perfectly. I had to roll myself... More
