We've been here several times for afternoon tea and, as always, the setting and atmosphere were wonderful. However, this time, we had a couple of annoying quibbles. The waitress took away the tray before we'd finished - she left the remaining cake plate but the tray is part of the afternoon tea experience and, if they were running out of... More

A lovely place for lunch or afternoon tea but you can't book on a Saturday. Food is good- not big portions but enough fir lunch - and staff are pleasant and helpful. Would go again.

Afternoon tea here was one of the highlights of our trip to Bath. We opted to have a champagne flight also; yum! This is a very beautiful and historical venue, and the Tea was delicious. We also tried a glass of the Bath water; not as bad as I thought! Not inexpensive, but well worth it.

We visited in early March. We were a party of six and did not want a full three course meal as we were eating out later. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to choose a delicious bowl of home made soup with beautiful cheese rolls. We enjoyed the music from the grand piano. A time gone by experience!!

We visited this place for a three course lunch. Great food and great service, all accompanied by live classical music. We visited on a Saturday lunch time, about 12.30, and managed to get a table without reservation with a short wait. Upon leaving there was a large queue at the door.

We went here for the afternoon tea. It was very nice. We thought it was a little on the pricey side but a very enjoyable experience.

Great ambience , with live but unobtrusive piano music . The building and furnishings are wonderful . We all had the set menu lunch , which at £17 for 2 courses was real value for money . Good ingredients well cooked and fresh to order . Indulge yourself in memorable experience without breaking the bank .

Had afternoon tea after visiting the Roman baths, the selection was delicious. The only downside was it's quite distracting with people constantly walking through from the baths. The pianist was fab and the room itself is pretty amazing

A lovely experience, the grandeur of the surroundings accompanied by splendid live music, wonderful service & food. We went at 2pm & only wanted tea & cake which was no problem & despite its popularity we didn't feel hurried, we could relax & fully enjoy the experience. Can't wait to visit again
