I stopped by for lunch on my last day in Bath and was surprised at how good the food was. I had the B'stella and thought it was tasty and light. I will definitely visit again when in the area

On completing the Cotswolds Way we wanted something tasty, fell upon this place and got just that. Friendly staff who knew the menu well and were happy to advise on any dishes. Food well presented, good portion size and delicious.

We ordered the S'csou Dyal Mema and the famous Moroccan Mezze for one. They had a huge mix of flavors and had a nice variety of vegetables. The presentation of the dishes were also nice and unique with good quality service. Would have probably ordered...More

We went here past 9pm and there were only a couple of people in the restaurant. The owner came to take the order and was pushing certain items on the menu, his attitude almost like a car salesman. We ordered after we talked to a...More

We had the 2 courses early birds meal, with good mint tea, and nice mixed starters, but in the starter there were chicken wings, while they had proposed to bring a vegetarian version, and the main course was far too spicy, while they had answered,...More

Wonderful meal for our adult family of 5. My daughter, who had studied in Morocco for a month, insisted on trying it. The tangines were excellent — lamb, chicken, and fish. And the taste was very authentic according to our family expert. The appetizer platter...More

Tagine Zhor is an authentic Moroccan restaurant run by the Casablancan Moroccan born owner. He takes pride in his Fez cuisine because it is based on traditional recipes that have been passed down from his loving Fez born grandmother "zhor" to him. It is the only finest Moroccan restaurant in Bath and probably in the whole South West of England. The perfect place to experience real Moroccan food cooked and served in a distinctive and traditional manner together with genuine warm hospitality in absolute beautiful Moroccan surroundings. Most meals begin with the simple selection of hot and cold mezze which might include hommos, Olives and Baba Ghannouj served with flat bread. The Tagine may come next served with Cous Cous, rice or Bread. It is a stew made of lamb, Chicken, Fish, Beef, kofta and Basilla. A single plate of dessert will usually consist of baklawas . They are sweet pastries dripping in honey or dusted in icing sugar marks the end of the meal before fresh mint tea or Arabic coffee are served. Do not forget to take a seat on outdoor terrace and enjoy the Shisha pipe and its flavour of tobacco. Also pay a visit to our gem Bazaar Shop downstairs featuring beautiful and unique handmade Moroccan items "great idea for gifts"
