The overall atmosphere of this cafe is of utter chaos from the way it is decorated to the clientelle right through to the busy staff. The food was excellent. I had the mezze which is a large serving of loads of different bits and pieces....My son had eggs benedict which he loved. We did have some comedy with the foreign waitress struggling to understand my son's mumbling request and instead of getting a scone with jam and cream as you'd expect, he got a rock cake with a blob of jam and a jug of pourable double cream. He still ate it all. If perfection and calm is what you after, steer clear. If quirkiness, chaos and great food is your thing, head on in.More

Nice little cafe in the town. Good choices for light or more substantial lunches. They got my drink wrong and the woman said that’s what I ordered but I didn’t, but we just laughed and it didn’t spoil lunch. Other staff were friendly. They close...fairly early.More

Stopped by for a nice late lunch of mezzo and grilled halloumi. Nice chilled atmosphere and staff were pleasant. None of staff were wearing masks and about half the customers were not either. Frankly I just don't beleive all these people were medically exempt, more...like just thumbing their noses at the rules. Made us feel a bit uncomfortable unfortunately.More

We had a really wonderful experience at this cafe. We took our granddaughter for breakfast in the garden. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The service was excellent and the food amazing. When we visit Glastonbury we wouldn’t consider eating anywhere else.

My friend and I have visited this cafe twice now and enjoyed both visits very much., A fantastic varied menu to suit all tastes and lovely paintings by local artists on the walls that are for sale. Highly recommended!

Lovely little cafe and the food is delicious, however, the customer service is very poor as we were waiting a while to be served and the staff were very unapproachable and quite frankly rude!!

This place looks relaxed and laid back, discovered it's not! Greet by a very stern gentleman who is condescending and rude to us because we came to the counter to order but it's table service so we sat back down but no one came to...get our order so we went back to the counter. The man then lectured us for not listening to him. We walked out. This is the man that always seems to be at the counter. He's obviously known to be rude and aggressive there are other reviews complaining about it. Why run a cafe if you can't deal with people?More

My family, friends and I have visited the Lazy Gecko many times on our annual, bi annual and any excuse trips to Glastonbury. To be quite honest, we simply would not eat anywhere else. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are warm and inviting and...the cafe itself is interesting and quirky. We were never once (in October '20) made to feel uncomfortable, as we are free thinkers and do not wear muzzles. I adore the Lazy Gecko, for its originality and for simply being who they are.More

Extensive menu available with a lot of choice for drinks too, including milkshakes. The omelette was big and the panini was well filled and delicious, so that made up for the price we paid. Prompt service but not very friendly at all. Open kitchen so...nice to see them prepare the food. One unisex toilet available and a garden at the back. Handsanitiser available upon entry, but staff aren't wearing masks and ask customers to come to the bar to pay. Didn't feel very comfortable sitting right next to the bar with people queueing there.More
