Tucked away in Union Street an authentic Moroccan experience with knowledgeable owner. Excellent food, well presented by attentive owner and staff. The shared Mezze offered a wide selection of tastes to start the meal served with pitta bread. The Lamb and Fish Tagines were flavoursome and cooked beautifully, leaving little room for a nice selection of puddings and cheese. A... More

We were looking forward to sampling Moroccan inspired food. However, despite a really friendly warm welcome and good service, we were disappointed with the food which lacked spice and was rather crude in presentation. However, the main disappointment was that the restaurant had been hired out for a large young people's birthday party and noise levels were unacceptable. Basically, the... More

I freely admit to frequenting this place. Indeed, some acquaintances have described it as my office! The reasons are simple - the service is welcoming and genuinely friendly; the coffee is good and the food delicious. The menu changes over time, and my wife and I have sampled some delicious meals here. Favourites? Well, local ham, egg and triple-cooked chips... More

Excellent food, excellent service, can't wait to travel back there one day to try it again. I recommend the tagine or the steak. There is parking outside including plenty of disabled bays.

The restaurant is tucked down a little side-street in Wells and has a small but excellent menu. My wife had the lamb tagine and I had the seafood tagine, which was packed full of clams, mussels, king prawns and squid and was absolutely delicious - one of the best tagines I have ever eaten. Would thoroughly recommend.

As other reviewers have noted, it's a surprise to find this excellent restaurant on a corner facing a car park. But it is well worth a try; we were cold and quite hungry, so it was good to receive a warm welcome from the owner with prompt service and an enticing lunch menu. The lamb and chicken tagines were both... More

I like Beah but you have to be careful to order the Mediterranean dishes only. Last night we went for a Christmas dinner. The lamb tagine was absolutely outstanding. The deserts, though... a "lime tart" was a hard pastry case with a thin layer of something lemony, the whole thing smohtered in over- sweet blueberry jam. The "chocolate mousse" was... More

I visit Beah when I'm at Somerset for business. I Love all tagine on the menu - seafood, chicken, and lamb! I love the special menu starter sometimes. Very relaxing restaurant for a casual night out for one person, a couple, or a group. There isn't a lot of wow factor in the deco but the food is amazing!! Also,... More

I have made Beah my regular coffee stop when visiting the city. So much so, it would seem, that the other day someone asked if I lived there! I keep going back because all the staff are so warm and friendly and bend over backwards to meet anyone's requirements. Delightful. My wife and I dine there when looking for a... More
