Met the other half for a Friday lunch and were very lucky to get the last table in the restaurant. Although very busy the staff were attentive and the food was excellent. Started with bread, olives & hummus followed by an intermediate course of scallops, shared between the two of us, great presentation. I finished with the singapore noodles with... More

If you want great tea and coffee or cake or breakfast or lunch you will not be disappointed . The Quality and flavour of all the above are always fantastic . Imaginative menu changes daily with a great choice for every member of the family . Just wish they were open in the evening as well .

Whilst we have been into the café for tea & cake a couple of times & also on another occasion for breakfast my wife & I recently went for a lunch. We thought we might have a sandwich, but they don't serve sandwiches. We were invited to look at the lunch menu & decided to stay. My smoked haddock gratin... More

We came in for shelter after a brisk beach walk. What a treat to be given a real pot of leaf tea. The food was also great and the price very reasonable.

Book in advance for lunch to avoid disappointment, or take a chance. We strolled in on a Saturday, to escape the cold wind and taking a chance that we might find a table. Luckily, we were early enough to get that table, having admired the excellent display of loose Norfolk Mussels and fresh fish on display for purchase in the... More

Was going to have a simple breakfast, thank goodness I didn't! Kedgeree was amazing and set me up for the day.

M friend and I had lunch at this unassuming little eating place today. It was our first visit. We were very pleased with what we ordered. I followed the recommendation from the reviews of previous dinners. They were so right. We ordered a small starter each with the combination of cockle, prawn and scampi. They were fresh and tasty. Then... More

Been here a few times whenever we visit Aldeburgh from South Wales. Breakfast is of high quality with eggs and mushrooms cooked to perfection. Limited menu, but that serves to make what is cooked to the highest quality. Extensive vegetarian menu for such a small place. good range of spirits and beers.

Came to AM for lunch. We were a walk-in, but it was fully booked, so had to return at 2. It was still really busy even when we left at 3.30. Food was brilliant. I went for the Thai mussels and my partner went for the chilli crab linguine. Both were exceptional. Great food, great drinks, great service.
