Popped in with my daughter and her dog. We was served by Charlotte who was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had a smoothie, a coffee and two paninis which was very delicious. The dog was even given a treat. Will certainly be returning again.

The name speaks for itself but doesn't also speak for the lovely serving staff or the yummy food on offer. A lovely place to while away time indoors or even better in the warmer weather outside.

Many people talk about the ritual of the Japanese tea ceremony, but one pleasure that does not require long-haul flights is to buy an espresso here. Firstly, the ambience helps you get in the best frame of mind to enjoy the experience. Secondly, staff are welcoming and helpful. And then the espresso arrives. After enjoying the aroma, there is the... More

I visited RRG during a weekday in early March with my partner and our dog. There was plenty of places to sit and the dog was given a treat and made to feel welcome. Coffee and cake were nice but definitely over priced. There are many places to eat in Bury St Edmunds so places have to justify high prices.... More

We attended with our daughter who is 18 months old. Having established they had a high chair, we assumed they would be friendly to a young family. Unfortunately, the highchair was plonked by them several feet from our table as there was a chair in the way of where the high chair could go to have our daughter eat with... More

2 sandwiches and a pot of tea for £16.05? My partner and I visited RRG this past week when passing through Bury St Edmunds - it was a particularly cold day and after walking around the Abbey we were famished. The staff were friendly on arrival, it was cosy inside - just what we needed. We made our order and... More

Myself & my wife went here on a Sunday afternoon and had a very nice coffee and snack, the decor is very nice and of course the view of The Angel Hill is fantastic... However the (young) staff seemed to think that because they were tucked around the corner from the till nobody could hear them, constant foul language amid... More

A brilliant little cafe. We sat in here to rest our bones after several hours of walking around Bury St Edmunds. Although we didn't eat, what we saw being served looked amazing. All home made. The coffee was superb. We'll stop here again on our next vist to Bury St Edmunds.
