I visited with 3 friends recently and was very impressed. The food was delicious and the service was great. The couple sitting next to us felt compelled to tell us how amazing their food was while we deliberated about what to choose from the menu! I'm pleased to have found a neighbourhood restaurant that I look forward to going back... More

Is really good, small, intimate, great wine selection all reasonably priced. The food is good, well presented and delicious. Service is beyond what I would have expected, thoroughly recommend for a small party or a romantic two. A recommend and will go again.

One of the nicest places to eat in Newcastle. Staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. The gourmet burger was delicious.

Busy Saturday night, group of 9 of us taking up much of the restaurant, enjoying the ambiance and fine food. Small but eclectic menu from Skrei cod to local venison, all freshly prepared. Something for everyone with a reasonable beer and wine list. And a small selection of single malts.

High quality food with fantastic service! We had the Prix Fixe menu which was superb value for outstanding food! Starters fish cakes and pigeon with belly pork salad, both excellent. Main courses steak (one of the best of the best I've had) and belly pork, super tasty!

The girls working Sundays modestly informed us they were the B team, well we really don't need the A team, these guys including the chef gave us a Beef Sunday lunch to remember finished off with the very best chocolate tarte in Newcastle. Just perfect....

Five of us, five different starters and mains. Each one delicious. Taste sensations last for ages. We had beef, fish, pork, venison and duck. Amazing.
