I have visited paradiso now on quite a few occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is of a beautiful standard and the service is always great with very friendly staff.

We visited paradiso for an early valentines dinner and as a way of going somewhere new - we are both very busy and don't often get the opportunity to go on dates. I chose the restaurant because of its fantastic reviews and was looking forward to it. When we got there we were sat on a table in the middle... More

Had a great night here between Xmas and New Year. Always great food and service from Giuseppe and his team. Seafood linguine is just amazing and the mussels to start were fantastic too. Prices are very reasonable and good value. One of our favourites and we are never disappointed.

What an absolute diamond of a restaurant. Delicious food at an absolute fantastic price. Our group was made to feel welcome and the waiter even went to the local supermarket to get strawberries for our prosecco! My birthday cake surprise was a lovely touch too. We will be back and often hopefully. Thank you 😊

Visited today and we at from the specials menu which is fantastic value at £9.95 for two courses. The food and service here are of a consistently high standard. We were impressed by the wonderful depth of flavour in the food which at this price was outstanding. So great to have proper ingredients, properly cooked enjoyed in a relaxed and... More

First of all, the food and drinks were perfect. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The menu was very dirty and dated. The restaurant was very cramp, they need to upgrade in size, it's busy which is good but it's off putting that you have customers and staff squeezing people past throughout your meal. I'd go back again, I'd... More

Went as a group of 10 in December, met by an abrupt manager who took us upstairs to what I can only describe as a canteen. Food was average at best, pizza dry and tasteless. The waiting staff were attentive and helpful, but that failed to make up for the poor surroundings and food. If you decide to go insist... More

I've been to paradiso many times and would thoroughly recommend to students or anyone else. Low prices and an interesting setting - based on 3 levels - means it is suitable for groups and couples alike. Food is tasty and good value

When Paradiso was booked as the venue for our work Christmas party meal there were a few murmurings of discontent around the office about a one star hygiene rating. However, we soon heard that Paradiso won a top national award and the aforementioned rating had improved. What I personally experienced was a top notch dinner, the highlights of which were... More

Description
Paradiso Newcastle - NORTH EAST RESTAURANT OF THE YEAR 2016 As voted by the Food Awards England. One of those restaurants you'll discover by word of mouth rather than by walking past. Tucked away down Market Lane, Paradiso is a hidden treasure. The restaurant is split into three main floors. The first floor, which is also the main seating floor seats up to 60, has a bar and a spacious outdoor terrace for alfresco dining. The second floor contains the open-plan kitchen and another seating area, which is able to seat up to 50. This floor is smaller than the first floor, but is still capable of holding large parties with ease, and again, we can accommodate parties of any size and number. If you require more privacy, our third floor is a private dining room which can seat up to 45. As this room features skylights, it is a bright, warm space and is spacious enough to be used for any kind of event, such as dining, presentations and so on.
