Just visited this establishment for the second time in recent months. Food poor, waiter had issues and to top it all the bill for four of us came to £92 and my visiting friend said split it 50/50 on card charged £50 each. Questioned charge and we were given back the difference. Usually leave a 10% tip but not on... More

I popped in for a quickish meal, just main course and keema nan. All was good, standard quality and enjoyable. Three stars because it is a takeaway with a restaurant attached. I found staff attention good popadoms crisp and mixed pickles very nice. Main course was lamb balti. It was clearly freshly cooked and very nice. Keema nan did the... More

Not greeted on entry, waiter just stared. asked for a table, shrugged and picked up a couple of menus and walked away. Asked for a glass of wine and a still water, got the wine but a pint of tap water with ice instead of still water. Large menu, somewhat confusing too many dishes really. Mains were pretty average, sauces... More

We popped in as it was opening so only two others eating but the place looks clean and appealing, toilets were spotless. We ordered some drinks and some poppadoms with a pickle tray which was good. We only had mains and the chicken Bhuna was very very good and full of large pieces of chicken. A well cooked dish, my... More

Arrived at restaurant and seated quickly and it was pretty empty. Prompt service for drinks and taking food order. Main dish arrived, one pot rubbish at the base topped with the 'named dish'. Not a freshly prepared dish. Offered another drink which I ordered but staff just hovered around as no dessert or coffee order was placed. Would avoid this... More

Went to Latif's with work colleagues. Whilst you get a fair amount of food, the quality wasn't great. Very bland and the service was shocking slow. The central location was the only really plus point about the visit. Won't be visiting there again.

Went with a group of 9 friends. Very slow service in a fairly empty restaurant. Food was good but overall experience was disappointing. Will not return.

Went here last night with a group of friends. Restaurant wasn't busy but took over 30 mins until we were taken to our table and this table had been empty when we arrived. They couldnt count when taking our drinks order so not a great start. Ended up that our main courses turned up over 90 mins after arrival. I... More

Quite old school atmosphere, great service, no complaints with the food, good rather than great, menu looks excellent value
