My partner and I had a great meal in Carters. The service was excellent, drinks were good, and the food was really nice. If it was a fiver a head cheaper, it would seem much better value and would go much more! Otherwise, I'll stick to special occasions.

On arrival we were able to choose the table we wanted, prompt offer of drinks and they were served without delay. The menu was explained when necessary and wine choices assisted. All in all a perfect evening!

The staff are welcoming, down to earth and know their stuff. The food was beautifully presented with each course looking like a piece of art and tasting even better. Everyone at the restaurant is enthusiastic about what they do and this certainly adds to the relaxed atmosphere. A fabulous restaurant and the experience made our anniversary extra special.

Just been for our anniversary meal and had a lunchtime taster menu. It lasted over 2 1/2 hours and was quite expensive but was well worth it. It was more than a meal it was an experience, the service was excellent, each course was explained in detail & the flavours magnificent.

Until a few years ago Birmingham was a barren location for quality restaurants. Nowadays there are several Michelin starred establishments in and around the city.My wife and I visited Carters of Moseley tonight and were delighted to observe the success of this innovative Michelin starred establishment. Some of the fixed price tasting menu is clearly influenced by Japanese cooking. The... More

This was a very special birthday lunch, that turned out to be the most expensive meal I'd ever had at just a shade under £700 for 6 people. Quite something for a Brummie suburb! But we did have absolutely everything, and lashings of quite expensive wine. And no regrets about the price. My first impressions were not particularly good, the... More
