Hard to tell if this is a restaurant or a pub anymore with so many diners in here nowadays. There is a variety of menus to choose from, enough to satisfy all tastes. Although it was interesting to note that during our visit the salad bar was the least used. We think it was a reflection of the male clientele... More

I love this place, always really warm and welcoming. We had a full breakfast and the eggs florentine, both cooked really well and delicious. I was expecting my spinach to be warm/wilted on the florentine. The cakes are also amazing, rocky road was to die for!

Had a great breakfast here last month. Initially my order was taken incorrectly. The member of staff apologised immediately and replaced my food quickly. I had been charged for a smaller breakfast but was given the larger one without having to pay the extra. That's great customer service.

Managed to squeeze in on the day of the Birmingham Marathon whilst visiting our daughter at nearby Uni. Clearly very popular & busy but well looked after by very friendly & helpful staff. Food was delicious and ambience great. Will definitely return!

The food was average but overpriced for what it was. There is very poor parking, so no car park for the actual place, so had to pay £3 pounds to park and then still had a long walk to the pub, this just ruined it for us, because who wants to walk for food really? Lots of things they could... More

We visited on the 20th to be served an amazing roast - rare, tender beef with a huge Yorkshire pudding, served with crispy roast potatoes and veg. Everything was beautifully seasoned and hot. A thoroughly enjoyable meal. The staff were all friendly and polite, despite how busy the restaurant was (it would have been easy for them to forget about... More

We called in here with son who we were visiting at university. Could not book a table but went anyway. Very helpful and efficient staff and told us we would only need to wait about 30 mins for a table which we were happy about. It was worth it and the burgers were amazing. Service was good once we had... More

Visited the plough on numerous different occasions, for breakfast, lunch, dinner and for coffee and cake. We decided to take some family members on Friday evening for dinner and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was buzzing, the staff attentive despite it being extremely busy and the food tasty. Yes it isn't the cheapest place around but you are paying... More

visited this pub a few days ago with a group of friends. drinks are a ridiculous price. at over 50 pounds for a party of 4 i won't be back. i don't mind paying a little more for a nice atmosphere but i do mind being ripped off.

Thank Karen B
