Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the Maitre'd and also met the owner, Andreas Antona who is certainly very passionate, knowledgeable, friendly and well traveled. Simpsons' ambiance is lovely, bright, and relaxing. We opted for the three course lunch menu which started with delicious nibbles: First to come were Chick Pea crackers with Black Truffle and Spelt; Next came... More

We had a great Sunday lunch here last week. Service was super and very friendly and three course lunch was a bargain for the quality of the food. Thank you

Simpsons is class all the way, the food was presented as literal artwork it almost pained me to eat it... almost. I had Sunday lunch, and have never been to a place with a more exotic menu and such pleasant atmosphere. Ordered the Duck Egg, the Sea Bream, Beetroot, and finished it with the Peanut cheesecake.

Our first visit to Simpsons and it definitely will not be the last. Upon arrival we were greeted by extremely friendly and welcoming staff. We were checked in with ease and shown to our rooms. The bedrooms did not disappoint. Our meal was booked for 19:30 where we were seated promptly. The taster menu was incredible, what an experience and... More

My favourite restaurant by far. 5* on all counts from beginning to end. The food lived up to expectations as always. Very expensive but for me it's worth every penny.

I don’t think I’ve had the tasting menu at Simpsons for a very long time, too long frankly based on my experience the other night. I love Simpsons. I might as well say that straight of the bat but I remain as subjective as possible and indeed I have criticised the restaurant on occasion, but not this time. This time... More

First time visit to this very elegant restaurant in a leafy suburb off Birmingham centre. Impressive from arrival with friendly knowledgeable service, superbly presented cuisine in a bright contemporary atmosphere. Faultless and we will definitely return; thank you to all the staff who obviously enjoy their roles.

Another birthday, another night out at Simpson's - this time with friends. What can we say - 5* on all counts, once again. Every course, from the small 'greeting from the kitchen' to the final petit fours (after the dessert) was absolutely delicious - and highly interesting to boot. And the service, as always, was friendly and informal. Not cheap... More

Upon arriving we were left standing like lost sheep, eventually someone turned up and confirmed our booking, no apology for keeping us waiting, we were shown into the side room for drinks which took a while to arrive but when they did they were good. Our order was taken and were shown to our table, it's the first time we... More
