Reviewed yesterday NEW

The food here was gorgeous and the service was quick, the restaurant has a great atmosphere also which adds to the experience. My only criticism is that the staff were a little push and we felt rushed. We were made to feel as if they wanted us to eat and leave, it was a Saturday and very busy but its... More

Visited with friends and have to say it was superb. Even though it was extremely busy we were still looked after really well and the food was excellent. Definitely need to go back again. And it's only round the corner from my other favourite Italian restaurant Cucina Rustica

Had not been to the restaurant for a long time but has always been a favourite and decided to take my partner who had not been before, for my birthday treat. Food was delicious and indulged in 3 courses, service excellent and good to see some old faces from previous visits. Would thoroughly recommend this Italian for a leisurely lunch.

Attended here as part of a large group and thoroughly enjoyed my food. The wine was pretty good too. For starters I had Mussels from the Specials Board - it was a big plate, the mussels were a fair size, and the sauce was lovely, with a nice kick to it. For main course I had the Monkfish and Prawns... More

Had a great visit here and the food was delicious. Some of our team didn't want a set menu so they were more than accommodating to offer the other menu. Would go again if I was in the area.

It was good from the moment we walked in for lunch and were greeted with a smile and shown to a table in the window. Smiling efficient service throughout in a traditional Italian setting. There was a good selection of pizzas and pasta dishes, with a few Italian speciality main dishes. A reasonable wine list too which didn't need to... More

Visited here two nights on the trot. The fillet steak was immense so much so that we came back the following night. Everything was wonderful and reasonably priced. We also had the lasagne which was one of the best I have ever had, crab ravioli and the spag bol. All very good. The first night the service was poor to... More

I went with work last night, table for 5. The decor inside it's nice, a bit or rustic brickwork and a graffiti towards the end. I've ordered out of the specials on the board. Marinara misto and sea bass. Colleagues had pate and garlic mushrooms. Starter was nice and sea bass was cooked to perfection. Potatoes and veg to the... More

We celebrated my birthday here a few weeks ago, myself and 4 other friends. We made a booking for a table of 5 and arrived on time. We were seated downstairs, in a VERY cramped table, next to the drink fridges....so close to other tables we may as well have been sat with them! The downstairs of the restaurant was... More

Restaurant was fairly busy on a Sunday afternoon, so the service was a little slow and food took a long time to arrive. When it did arrive it was very good (for a very reasonable price)! Will definitely return.
