Great food, reasonably priced, good service in a cobbled stoned street of Coventry ( close to the cathedral). We ate dinner and breakfast there.

Very friendly and attentive staff; food is fresh and tasty, no highlights but solid; unfortunately it can get very loud, when busy.

My son and I had lunch at Playwrights. He chose it because they have a few vegan options which was very exciting! The restaurant is cosy, and has a lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly. The food was tasty- nothing spectacular or different, but good.
