Not a huge Witherspoons person but the beer there is really good after a weekend from Edinburgh, I was never out of there all weekend.

Usually avoid Wetherspoon's but on a visit to Coventry passed this one and it looked very nice with window seats along the Main Street. Nice atmosphere inside and super friendly attentive staff. Meals arrived promptly and were reasonably priced and good quality. Will visit again...More

Friendly staff. Good solid Wetherspoons food. Beef pie. Burger. Peri peri chicken. All up to usual standard. Decor could use an upgrade. Some of the chairs and fittings look a bit worse for wear.

This wetherspoons is very nice place to go in the day time. The upstairs sitting is very nice. You get away from the hustle and bustle of downstairs. Very nice food, i would suggests any of their Mexican food. Its all very nice!

As I have come to expect from weatherspoons this was very good value for money. We visited during a particularly hot spell of weather and were very grateful for the air conditioning

There has been several times recently when I have had to complain that my mixed grill has been missing one of the five pieces of meat. Also numerous occasions when the side salad was missing the dressing. It's become a standard joke what wetherspoons will...More

Wetherspoons pubs are incredibly reliable. You know what you're getting when it comes to food. The staff are polite and friendly. Food comes out very quickly after ordering and is always as expected. The food is not exactly gourmet but you get what you pay...More

The name of this Wetherspoon pub recalls the fondly remembered motor car, part of a range of models made in Coventry, from 1903 until the 1960s. Standard's first car, the Motor Victoria, was built by Reginald Maudslay, in Much Park Street, in 1903. The 'Standard Nine' was launched in 1927. Inexpensive, at A£198, its success saw Standard through the 'slump', and it was still going strong when, in 1936, the Flying Standard models made their debut.
