This food bar is unique in Coventry, not expensive, and the food is good standar. I first tried Chi baR when I arrived to work in Coventry four years ago, and have kept coming back from time to time or when passing by. I always have it as a maybe. The people running it have changed over time, but it... More

Really like the food here, also do great bubble tea. I did, however, go a bit adventurous once (I love all kinds of foods) and the Taiwanese fungus salad was not for me. However, I have had loads of other food here which has been lovely. Only struggle is the place is incredibly busy most of the time and it... More

I've always wanted to visit Chi bar since moving to Coventry year ago. Always looked cosy and inviting, left me curious about the food, considering the sticker of Coventry Telegraph's Best Chinese of 2013. I got myself badly fooled, as well as SO, who's british born Chinese and is always curious about Chinese eateries. We checked the menu online on... More

I think I'm addicted to this small bar. It's got a lovely layout and can sit approx 15 people, but you don't feel squashed! The manager was very friendly and informative about his new opening hours. They extended their times from 6pm finish to 8pm finish AND have delivery until this time! Right, onto the food. My partner had the... More

Went for dinner on my own here. Was surprised to learn they shut at 8 but they were happy for me to order to eat in when I arrived at 7.30. Great value and loved the food. Tiny place with only a handful of seats but no-one else there so plenty of space (but no customer toilet!). Had chicken katsu... More

As a Chinese student in Coventry, I literarily love this cute little restaurant the most. It is a Taiwan style restaurant, also selling some Korean food. The environment is cozy, the staff's attitude are nice, and they are creative.

Always excellent for some authentic dishes from Japan and Korea. Great place for quick lunch. A real gem for Coventry. They will cook anything fresh, or you can grab a selection of ready prepared takeout dishes. Not much seating so more of a place to grab something quick to eat. Reminds me of time spent travelling in Korea and the... More

The food is decent and portions just right. The Hong Style French toast was delicious and so was the korean spicy rice cakes. The menu boosts real homely foods that usually students eat like the noodles with ham, sausages and egg. The price is pretty good too for the food you get. The place looks new and is very small....
