Booked a table for 10 as my sister was down from Scotland and my brother had his Polish in-laws over and had a great time. Roasts were good and plentiful, kids meals were very good and what a setting - nestled in the South Downs...More

A lovely country pub with a roaring fire. The food and service were excellent. Good choice of starters and mains. The restaurant is not very big but there was ample seating space and you did not feel cramped. Would definitely recommend. Will definitely return

The restaurants and pub area are full of character and if you want a wonderful Sunday roast you will find it here. Do book as it can get very busy., but well worth a visit.

During a long walk around the area I popped in for a lunchtime meal for one. The fire place was smoking away and the whole place was near to packed. I think most visitors were either regulars or have found them online. The requirements I...More

Booked a table for 3pm. That wasn’t ready when we arrived as there were people in there still having coffee, so we were told by the lady in the snug where you order food. ‘Get a drink in the main bar and we’ll call you...More

I've no idea whether they do, you would have to ask the restaurant direct.

My lady is vegetarian and enjoyed the food saying it was better than the average pub choice. Seemed to be at least two choices for each of starter, main and dessert. Look at the menu of the website for specifics. Haven't... More
