Been here many times and have always enjoyed the food and the ales. Nice surroundings and the menu has something for everyone. Portions could be bigger, but not bad for the price. Always good real ales on as well.

Had a decent meal. Food is typical pub grub, and carvery type offerings. Sunday lunches are good. Can get busy, and as a result service is sometimes slow. Surroundings are pleasant, big car park, staff work hard, and prices are reasonable.

This is definitely worth a visit for good food. We went for Sunday lunch. The portions were generous, the service excellent, the quality was really good. The pork chop in Yorkshire pudding with mash, roast and a variety of vegetables looked great. I had steak...More

Huge barn of a place. Buzzing with Yorkshire folk. Enthusiastic service. Very good starter (scallop on sage butter with black pudding topping.) Mostly tasty and enjoyable main courses for the party of eight, with the exception of the one, frankly, car crash of a dish:...More

Description
The Stansfield Arms dates back to 1543 and is a beautiful, beamed historical pub. There are lots of different areas with varying ceiling heights, nook and crannies and not a straight line! It is Family run, our crown and glory. We serve good homemade food all day, every day and have real ales as well as a good wine list and gorgeous gins.Set in the idyllic Apperley Bridge area, near the River Aire and open countryside it is popular with walkers, cyclists, dog owners all year round. Perfect in the summer on our very large south facing patio area and cosy in the winter by our open fires. We have a large car park.We are famous for our award winning early bird, £12.95 For two courses off the main menu and our Sunday lunches that starts from £9.95.We look forward to meeting you , Chris and Nick Green
