We had looked all over Haworth for plain scones and clotted cream. We found clotted cream but no plain scones so we were delighted when we saw plain scones here. We had been in once and left because of no clotted cream but we did return and I am glad we did because the cream tea with homemade cream was... More

We stopped by for a hot drink after a walk to the Bronte waterfall. We sat outside in the sunshine. It looked busy inside and the cakes in the window all looked tasty. The toilets were nice and clean.

We stopped here for a quick bite before heading to the Bronte parsonage. My panini was delicious made as requested with a little change to the ingredients on the menu. My friends sandwiches (doorstops) were lovely too! We returned for cake and tea on the way back-equally delicious.

Tried it out as the menu looked interesting. We enjoyed a herb crusted fish with green beans. Unfortunately the potatoes came as an extra dish so increased the cost. How ever, the cost was not pricey with the meal being £15 a head. It felt good value as pricey as it was was all cooked to perfection and we enjoyed... More

Called into The Stirrup after seeing the cakes on display in the window. We did think it was just a 'nice little tea shop' but they do meals and are open until quite late serving hot food all day. The cakes were delicious and had a real home made taste - delicious

Just stopped here for some cake, 3 of us shared a piece of carrot cake and a slice of lemon drizzle and one had the brownie with ice cream, all very nice and the waiters were very pleasant and keen to help.

Visited for the first time after a local Christmas walk with all of the family and the dog. After initial confusion as to whether we were able to sit inside with the dog and if it was possible to adjoin 3 tables together to seat all 6 adults the food and service was excellent The chef came out with a... Met friends from Lancashire to show them what 'Wild Yorkshire' is like and yes it was windy, rainy and a little cool. Booked afternoon tea at The Stirrup and it was delightful and delicious. Sandwiches without crusts (for the oldies!) with excellent fillings, scones baked to perfection, cakes to delight any palate and excellent tea and coffee. All we can... More

We stayed in Haworth for the weekend and were drawn to The Stirrup as the perfect little place for dinner. It is only open for dinner on Saturdays which made it seem special and one of those hidden gems and we were not disappointed. Lovely yummy not overpriced food. Cosy little place with friendly staff and a beautiful walk back... More
