Came here for a birthday meal for about 22 of us .... Food was ok but I think they struggled a bit with the amount of people there were. Staff were lovely and polite.

This place is set up nicely. The service was not only quick but social with helpful local recommendations.
The Coach & Horses was once a favourite place of ours for family gatherings and celebration meals. Unfortunately the new managements have adopted a "No dogs" policy which is a shame. The previous proprietors were always very welcoming towards families with well behaved dogs. This...More
We recently had a Sunday lunch here. Honestly the roast potatoes were the BEST we have ever had eating out. 5* for these. The rest of the meal was also to a very high standard. Well worth the 45 mile drive to get there. Will...More

Prompt and pleasant service, good food with imaginatively cooked vegetables (At the moment Sunday lunch is roast beef, lamb, chicken of pork at £10 with childrens' roasts at £5). Good to have really hot plates. Background music pleasant and not obtrusive.
