Only stopped off for a coffee and ground floor like any other coffee shop but make the effort to go upstairs and marvel at the old beams, bay windows and fireplaces. Lots of nooks and crannies to chose from for a bit of privacy. Lovely...More

Interesting menu options, so much so I went for a vegetarian option which I didn't regret. The sweetcorn hash would, in my view, be better if shallow fried as patties rather than deep fried as balls, which are nice but too oily. Service was prompt...More

Thank you for writing us a very positive review. The sweetcorn hash is by far one of most popular brunch meals and as a company we are very happy with the dish but thank you for your comment. The avocado in the iced coffee is...More

Great place and lovely coffee with beautiful old English decor and charm . I would always return. Just missed out on the 5 points because the tables were very unclean and no spoons to put sugar in my coffee . But that's minor and can...More

Sorry but nothing good about this place, Went in for a quick snack, Thought the food was awful, As was the coffee and worst of all the service, a total disinterest in the customer and more about chatting amongst themselves. Sadly won't be going back

Shame that for such a beautiful location the speed of service and the food quality is so poor. Appreciate that it was a busy Saturday but over an hour between order and having our food is not good. The food ordered wasn't complicated so not...More

Hello, I would like to apologize for the long wait you had for your food. Unfortunately on the Saturday we were short staffed due to staff members going away over the Easter period, however i know this is no excuse. Thank you for your feedback,...More

Tables were absolutely Filthy, chewing gum under tables and sticky on top. I had to go get blue roll myself so I could render the table fit for purpose. Coffee was okay.

Hello, Sorry for you unpleasant experience in our cafe. We are awaiting for the tables to be re-varnished as now our sanitizer is reacting with the wood of the tables leaving it having a 'sticky' feel. Thank you for your understanding.

We ordered their Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine. Both were very disappointing, because the main component - the eggs - were too well done. The egg yolk is supposed to be runny for poached eggs, but ours were almost totally solid. Service was quite good...More

Description
Boston Tea Party is a small family owned independent café group serving simple well-prepared food & drinks made with great ingredients, skill and love. Ethically sourced, affordable, feel-good & excellent quality - made from scratch onsite everyday by people who care about what they do. BTP Salisbury opened in one of Salisbury’s most historic buildings, the Old George Inn which dates back to 1314. It would be hard to overstate the historical significance & pedigree of this Grade 1 listed building. William Shakespeare is believed to have performed one of his plays in its courtyard, Oliver Cromwell slept here on his way to join the army, Samuel Pepys wrote about the Inn in his diary after a stay & both H G Wells & Charles Dickens made mentioned of it in their writings.
