Nice located village pub, friendly staff, spacious restaurant and bar. The food was good with a wide range of meal options, although I thought there could have been a better selection for vegetarians. Child menu was also very limited but the food supplied was good...More

... and the beer ain't bad either. It's a rich and compelling, gurt lush, cosy hot spot. If I had the entire day to do so, I would love to sit on one of the many fine cushions and study each picture frames content, gaze...More

Exceptional in every way. Fantastic food, we all had pork or sausages and found them fabulously tasty. Brilliant staff who couldn't do enough, and friendly locals. Top notch desserts and a good wine list. Children were made welcome, and our 8 year old said it...More

The food was nice, not stunning but good. However our salad was gritty as though it hadn’t been washed too well, we were asked to sit right next to some other diners when there was clearly much more free space but worst of all, when...More

Old pubs thrive in the UK, this one is 16th century, tucked in the village of Newton Tony & is well worth a visit, they have about at least 10 real beers, a small but varied menu, burgers abound, but a lot different than the...More

Was in here for a works do last month. I usually have the mallet burger but decided to go for the surf and turf burger. I specifically asked if the sauce it came with was hot and I was guaranteed that it wasn't. When the...More

We live only a few miles from here and this is our "go to" pub, particularly if we have guests. A great range of food and a wide range of beers together with welcoming staff.

Went there while on a drive to the South West after we found that the intended lunch break pub appeared to have closed. A quick phone call at 13,20 to next dog friendly pub westwards, established the Malet Arms open but kitchen closing at 1400....More

We visited The Mallet as a table of 6, absolutely charming pub! Hadn't been before but will definitely be returning. Very friendly staff and locals. Slight wait for food, but it was quite busy. Food was very tasty, the Mallet burger was divine.

The ladies toilet is quite small, I don't think it would be easy access with a wheelchair, however, their may be other facilities available. I would suggest phoning the pub, if you haven't already.
