Nice enough; staff are helpful and food order was timely. Not an overly exciting pub, sky sports seems to be on constant loop. Might be a good location to watch a sports event but as a place for a nice drink; if you're stuck inside there are better options.

The setting is lovely. Walk over the bridge and watch the rushing water below you. The building is interesting and the staff are great, happy, friendly people. The food looks and sounds great on the menu and parts of what I ordered Lamb Shank Cottage Pie) was OK. It was served with peas and carrots. (see photo) The rest was... More

Set on the river with garden, with river flowing on the otherwise through The Maltings, it's perfectly close to all the shops there. This was the site where the ingredients for beer making was once stored, at one time the railway lines brought in the goods right into the area. In modern times the Maltings became a shopping area, leading... More

We popped in for lunch not having been to this Pub before and we were pleasantly suprised. My father inlaw is disabled and we had our dog with us, both were well catered for.
