Dinner on Saturday night. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We were seated on the ground floor and although it was busy service was good. Quite comfortable but by the end of the evening the room was quite hot. Good variety in the menu but...More

We had our "surprise" wedding lunch for 25 people upstairs in lovely room with its own bar and facilities - great Saffron colours and decoration, lovely menu choices for food and wine and it all went really well - very memorable. Great for a small...More

I went there for a secondary birthday meal with my parents, and we were expecting that it'd be like it always was. It wasn't. The service was still lovely, as was the decor. Even the bread they give out free with their little spreads were...More

The title says it all. Popped in for a pre-concert supper and was so impressed. Food was superb, service eloquent and attentive when needed. Great background music - '60s classics. Between the 3 of us we sampled the fishcakes, fillet steak, swordfish steak and fish...More

We went for lunch mid week and had an excellent lunch. We both had risotto but two different kinds - both were full of flavour. We then shared a yummy syllabub. Wine was just right and the service friendly and attentive.
