My wife and I prefer the small intimacy of this cafe whenever we're visiting the town centre. The owners are very hospitable and even told us where they sourced their individual teapots which we now have at home. If you're after something savoury I can really recommend the scrambled egg with smoked salmon on sourdough bread!

Lovely little cafe in the middle of Abergavenny serving a variety of drinks, cakes and food. Simple things done well. Great window seats: if you're into people watching with a nice cuppa and slice of home made cake, this is the perfect spot

Dropped in for coffee and cake and a good place to relax. Coffee and teas were good and the cake SLABS were good value. Nothing to warrant significant praise or concern. Pleasant atmosphere and congenial host/ owner.

We were looking for a lovely café to end our visit in Abergavenny and found the very cozy CWTCH Cafe. Even if it was busy, we felt welcome by the staff. They all smiled, they took time for a little chat. The cake (a homemade Jaffa Cake, baked like all the others by the owner) was a big slice and... More

Utterly delicious food combined with genuinely warm and friendly service. We popped in for coffee and cake (both scrumptious) whilst visiting Abergavenny and we were so impressed we returned the next day for brunch. I ordered the pancakes with bacon and scrambled eggs....ah! lip-smackingly fantastic....light and fluffy pancakes, bacon crisped to perfections and the tastiest eggs ever. Faultless! Highly recommended!

Visited this Friday (7th) for some cake and a coffee and certainly glad I did! Although the café was quiet it was a very warm welcome from the young girl behind the counter who quickly took my order and brought an AMAZING toffee sponge out along with my latte. Would highliy recommend the coffee in this cosy little café as... More

My family and I found this very cute and welcoming cafe while visiting Abergavenny. We all had breakfast and wow what a treat. We had a good vile as soon as we entered. The staff was very friendly; the food was gorgeous and the coffee was outstanding!!! My daughter is lactose intolerant and we was offered soya milk immediately after... More
