Visited the tearooms around 10am midweek. Very quiet, we sat outside and enjoyed the view of the cathedral. Staff very polite and pleasant. Prices pretty good £6.50 for small breakfast, good cooked hot food and tea. Would come here again.

We were driving through Brecon and couldn't see anywhere worth stopping so headed for the Cathedral for a wander. And there in a peaceful setting, under beautiful trees was Pigrims cafe. They served delicious homemade food in delightful surrounding. We loved it.

Good menu with a specials board, I had the quiche which was served with a very nice salad and coleslaw. Plenty of seating and friendly staff.

Stopped here for a drink and bara brith. The Bara brith was excellent. We sat outside in the cathedral close and enjoyed spring day and the blossom and flowers.

Sorry, we have a very small kitchen and as we don't have a fryer chips are not possible. We do try to have fish on the menu on a Friday - Salmon Wellington, Baked Hake, Fish Pie, Sea Bass Provencale etc.
