Have been coming to this lovely Cafe for about 40 years and have never before been dissatisfied with the good . My Burger specified cheese topping with fried onions was about on par with the £1 cheese burger from Burger King along with cold chips for £7.90. My wife and sister had a very disappointing prawn salad which was very... More

Five of us recently visited for an evening meal. We arrived, having pre-booked a couple of weeks in advance, and were "pointed" at our table. This wasn't a great start and really we should have been taken to our table and then offered the menus. After a couple of minutes the menus arrived and we ordered drinks. The place was... More

I have stopped at the Honey Cafe many times - usually a few of us out for a drive. Lovely location with great views, good range of drinks and snacks available, as well as restaurant food. Comes recommended.

Called in here on the off chance while out for a drive , very pleasant surprise. Nice choice of food on offer , especially the cakes , and the staff were all very friendly and there is plenty of seating outside for those sunny days . All of which made for a nice little find on our outing , will... More

My friend and I were recommended this restaurant by the landlord of the B&B we were staying at a few miles away. We popped in to see the menu and were surprised by how big it was so we booked for that night. From 7-9pm the menu is Tex-Mex and it was superb. The first night we opted for the... More

Over the past few years I have been to the Honey Cafe many times. I have never been disappointed, what a little gem. The staff are unfailingly polite and friendly, no matter how busy they are. The food has always been good, whether I've had a cooked Sunday dinner, brunch, breakfast, or a lighter meal like jacket potato. As a... More

I have visited the Honey Cafe a few times and just love it!! The food is freshly cooked, the gourmet burgers are amazing and vary in flavour there are so many to choose from! The prices are average but the portions are generous, we never leave hungry! The homage deserts are delicious and beautifully presented. I am quite often full... More

A fair veggie breakfast - not keen on the tomatoes though. Not massive so if you're after a gut buster go elsewhere. £7.50 for a veggie breakfast including tea or coffee so a little on the steep side.

We stopped here for lunch on our way through. I had the veggie burger. It was good I was just getting tired of fried foods after eating at pubs for several days. We also shared the strawberry roulade which was very good.

We went to the Honey Cafe on a Friday night, for our evening meal. We'd visited the cafe before around three years ago and enjoyed the cake and teas, sitting outside taking in the view. I'd advise you to not bother going unless it is for a cake/tea quickly as the most recent experience was awful. The menu provided to... More
