A wonderful cafe, combined with a shop and post office. Most food is made on the premisis or by local companies. The custard slices are to die for. The full breakfast is a challange, to say the least.

My husband had been here before when camping - I think I would have passed by but was pleased not to have as we had a lovely lunch. They served my soup with lovely gluten free bread -I often have to go without so was pleasantly surprised to be well catered for. Didn't have them but the gluten free cakes... More

Wow, this was a pleasant surprise! Not just a cafe as the name says, but an obviously wel-run little restaurant with the freshest food we could have hoped for in a drop-in establishment early on a Sunday afternoon. I had a tuna melt jacket potato and my other half had a panini, both with salad trimming, well presented and so... More

Actually part of Talybont Stores & Post Office. We ended up here, as we were uninspired with the choice that was open in Brecon itself on a Monday and drove past here and decided to stop. There is a reasonable choice of food - many seemed to go for soup or all day breakfast. We opted for toasted sandwiches, which... More

While we were moored up in Talybont, we stopped here for a lovely cooked breakfast with good toast and a nice cuppa.

Stopped at this lovely spot on a Sunday walk. Great homemade food and cakes. Lovely people who served us who had great local knowledge about where to go. Will visit again when in the area.

We have used this cafe for the last 9 years on a regular basis enjoying its usually good food and friendly excellent service by the staff, although standards have been gradually dropping lately, which is a shame. However, we stopped for lunch here as we normally do during our walk along the Breco/Monmouth canal on the 1/9/16. The cheese ploughmans... More

Stopped for lunch after a long walk, staff were really friendly and great with my little one. The food was lovely, it was fresh and tasty! You can get whippy ice cream too. The shop attached, is stocked with all the essentials and more. There is even the local post office. Thanks to all who make this establishment what it... More
