Wonderful welcome, friendly witty banter, great menu, tasty food, such value for money. I had a great night here. I hope everyone supports this lovely family business. Every time I go I wonder why I've left it so long. Fab. Thank you.

Was recommended to come here and it was totally worth it. So much food we couldn't move afterwards and at such a good price as well. Service was charming, warm and friendly. We would definitely come here again.

But once that door opens, the ever-courteous Spiro , or the imperturbable Sylvia, will greet you warmly. There's plenty of choice on the menu, the food is freshly-prepared by... More

We came here midweek with friends and felt as if we were amongst friends. Informal but efficient and professional service gave a homely feel; the food was faultless. Vitello Milanese wasn't on the menu but it was cooked for me perfectly. If for nothing else, you should come here for the unique and absolutely delicious Salerno cheesecake. I was told... More

This is the second time that we have been to Merola's, having previously visited around the same time last year for my wife's birthday. This time we booked a larger table here for 12 of our friends, and again it was for my wife's birthday. This is because we enjoyed the food and the friendly service so much last year... More

I have been visiting Merola's on and off since it opened in 1986. Shame on me that I've only now got around to writing a review. The décor nor menu has changed much over the years, but the reason I have been returning time and time again is because the service and food has remained consistently great. I can honestly... More

This lovely little restaurant is a favourite with both family and friends. We were here for a friend's birthday and there were 14 of us. On enterring it was obvious a busy night was in store for the staff. We placed our order most of the group opting for steaks the rest pasta from their extensive Italian menu. We weren't... More
