Part of a champagne tasting menu. Wonderful summer dishes with a bottle of Tattinger Champagne per person. Opted for the extra cheese course which was very good. Coffees could be accompanied with petit fours.

It was a bit like stepping back in time, but we loved that about it. Went for afternoon tea. we were offered lots of different teas but opted for the "afternoon tea". We both agreed it was the best tea we had ever tasted. The cakes and sandwiches were lovely and everything was very well presented. The staff were very... More

This is such a difficult review to write. Some aspects of the experience were sensational. Some honestly a little poor. It's a slightly strange place - you have to ring a bell to get in. We had the 7 course tasting menu with matched wines. The sommeliers were outstanding and so knowledgeable - the young guy in particular - and... More

A wonderful personal experience with incredible food and superb wines to match. Staff were lovely and friendly and the food brought at the perfect speed. Particular thanks to the junior sommelier Nick who was particularly knowledgable. My favourites were the pork and the strawberry white chocolate panna cotta! Pricey but very worth it. Thanks very much for a lovely experience... More

Our 9 course tasting menu was delicious- my highlights were: - the mullet with puréed curried cauliflower - the Angus beef with mashed potato topped with cheese & wrapped in bacon (an absolute taste sensation) - both the white chocolate mousse and the rhubarb soufflé were melt in your mouth amazing The restaurant only had a couple of free tables... For a capital city Cardiff is sadly lacking in Restaurants that offer a fine dining experience for special meals or occasions. In a search for something different to the chains, burger places and pub grub, we booked a table in the Park House in the hope that we'd find what we'd been looking for; beautiful ingredients cooked with skill and... Excellent food in a lovely setting. Every course was beautifully presented. However, the experience was spoilt as we had to ask for the wine list and the sommelier did not offer any advice or recommendations on which wines we should try

This restaurant can turn its hand to regular al la carte, chefs tasting menus and fixed price limited choice pre-rugby specials. Oak panelled rooms and lush decor provide a sophisticated atmosphere, drinks and cocktails upstairs before dining and knowledgeable and helpful waiters and sommelier on the ground floor. Menus often feature suggested matched wines, or the sommelier can offer help.... More

Had the 7 course taster menu and every dish was perfect. The desserts were some of the best I have ever had. The service was faultless and each course was served with very little waiting. The waiting staff were very freindly and knowledgable. The restuarant is in a beautiful setting and has a very comfortable atmosphere. Would highly recommend this... More
