This place seems always busy, so we were amazed to get in at 7:30. It is a climb up narrow stairs to the dimmly lit restaurant. Food is cooked there as well so you can see your steak done. Surprisingly there very little smoke or smell wandering into the eating area. The decor always reminds me of a Gothic house.... More

Not the best steak house in Cardiff, but in the top 5 and certainly the best priced Its reasonably priced, generous portions... and the deep fried cauliflower is like crack. Added bonus - it is open until stupid o'clock in the morning, so you can gaurentee no hang over by having a facking large steak.

The steak in here is bottom of the barrel stuff but it's the only place around serving it at stupid o'clock. Have been here a few times now and it's always the same- it always seems like a good idea at the time but in the morning you wish you'd saved yourself £20 and got some chips next door... don't... The only place for a decent steak at a stupid hour of the morning, food is always done to perfection and service with a smile, Kim and Martin are two of the loveliest servers i know, always time for a chat even when its busy. Always love a chat with Carmella at the end of the meal and they all... More

Visited here for a late meal with my partner. No disabled access because the restaraunt is upstairs. Steak was great, my partner had diane which was made with lots of tomatoes (not sure if that's common in south Wales) and I asked for the garlic, which was just overloaded on the garlic butter, but as a garlic lover this was... We actually never ate here because we booked for 8pm and as everyone does we turned up at 7:45 baring in mind the place opens at 7:30. The place was closed up then some guy turned up from outside somewhere and opened up... we told him we had a booking at 8 and the place was a mess with food... More

Booked a table here for after the rugby a month in advance and was told no problems. Turned up and was told that there were no tables open and they didn't take bookings, even showed the management a confirmation email. After this the lady said that she was to busy to deal with the situation. We did the obvious and... More

Waited for over an hour and a half. Think we lost a friend who died whilst waiting. If you ever think of eating here for heavens sake go and find somewhere else. Table next to us gave up and we should have followed ! Must be the must be the worst steam house on the planet.

After a drunken night out my friends and I decided to grab a bite to eat! Rather than the same old chippy lane grub, thought a steak was in order! I had a rump steak ask for rare to medium came a bit to cooked for my liking (still edible though) however that was not a massive problem! Will definitely... More
