We went to Deane's fish restaurant -Love Fish - for our Friday night dinner while visiting Belfast. The restaurant is in a central location - we were able to walk there. The dining room was well laid out and the staff were very welcoming. The...More

The food and presentation is all beautiful. But the steak didn't really meet my expectations. I ordered a fillet steak and at a price of £30 I expected it to be amazing. It was good, but not amazing. It tasted like it had been on...More

The restaurant is located centrally, has a good environment and an excellent private dining room on the first floor for around 18 around a big table. The menu is good, the steak is excellent but the cod was a bit ordinary and the presentation could...More

Worst steak I have ever had. I order the rib eye and it was paper thin, hard to chew and no taste. Service was below average, never asked how my meal was. Don't waste your money.

Had dinner at this restaurant with two colleagues sadly their menu writings don't match the food. The starter I had was scallops and bacon, not sure what happened to the scallops but I received only two and the rest was chicken. The steak was cut...More

Care and attention to every detail marks this restaurant out as one of Belfasts finest. Service is attentive but never in your face, just friendly and professional. Lovely interior and ambiance. White linen table settings contrasts so well with the original decor. Varied menu at...More

Ate here with friends as a special occasion for my wife's birthday. Overall the meal was very disappointing. Starters and mains were ordinary at best and not really befitting a restaurant of this repute. Was very pricey for what we had and required very little...More

We will soon be staying at the Savoy for a couple of nights in a river view room. We have never stayed at a hotel like the Savoy before but we are a celebrating occasion so decided to push the boat out. We don't like to be mean so would welcome any suggestions about who we should tip and how much? We would prefer if we could leave one tip which is shared between all the staff but what percentage of the total bill should that be?

If I have had outstanding service, something above and beyond the level I would expect, then I leave a tip and that would be dependent on who it was - in other words for an individual £5 or £10. Most restaurants add a built... More
