A wonderful meal to celebrate a special birthday. Six of us visited The Barking Dog and had a wonderful evening. Food was delicious and staff were attentive and extremely helpful.

A busy but efficient restaurant serving a range of meat, fish and pasta dishes but not too great a choice (often too bewildering). Prompt service and quality of food as expected for a restaurant in this price range.

The tapas and chicken were good. We had the burger and found it to be too big and reminiscent of meatloaf. The fries however were excellent. The featured dessert-the caramel tart and peanut butter ice cream -was good. Local beers and cider hit the spot.
