A wonderful meal to celebrate a special birthday. Six of us visited The Barking Dog and had a wonderful evening. Food was delicious and staff were attentive and extremely helpful.

We went here on Saturday and have booked our second visit straight away. The food was amazing, I couldn’t pick what to eat as everything sounded so good but I decided to go for the steak and I wasn’t disappointed. Cooked to perfection and I...More

I’d have to say the steak was the best steak I’ve had in years. Medium-rare melt in your mouth and full of flavour from the flame grill. I’d prefer softer chips but can’t drop points for that :-) a choice of sauces might have been...More

A busy but efficient restaurant serving a range of meat, fish and pasta dishes but not too great a choice (often too bewildering). Prompt service and quality of food as expected for a restaurant in this price range.

I honestly don't think the food is as good as it used to be based on my last visit, but it's still a great spot with really tasty food. We'll keep going back and enjoying.

The tapas and chicken were good. We had the burger and found it to be too big and reminiscent of meatloaf. The fries however were excellent. The featured dessert-the caramel tart and peanut butter ice cream -was good. Local beers and cider hit the spot.

In my opinion, for the quality and type of food you get, it's much cheaper than places with similar menus

I would probably say no. Somewhere like Springsteins Diner on the Lisburn Road might be better.
