I found staff to be rude and that layout of our table such that every time a staff member walked by me I either got my chair knocked into or elbowed in the back of the head. I ordered steak which came with no sauce,...More

I have been to Barking Dog many times before and have enjoyed it. Today I visited for lunch with my Mum (a pre-Xmas tradition of going somewhere nice for lunch). We both ordered Christmas dinner at £18 each. 3 smallish roast spuds were nicest part...More
After reading the reviews I thought this would be a fantastic restaurant I could celebrate a family event with a top quality meal. How disappointing our visit was we were greeted by a not so friendly gentleman who showed us to a table. Our orders...More
Okay....the food is good here but not so exceptional that I would go back. The restaurant is also not cheap. The issue letting down this restaurant is the unfriendly rude staff, big hint - when your first customer turns up at 12.20pm for lunch to...More

Have visited a few times and as always it delivers. The initmate setting, friendly staff and tasty food always make it a win-win. The home brew is also up there with some of the best beers I've tasted. Always enjoy ordering the tapas.
Probably labelled as being in the University area, it's quite a surprise when you step inside, as it's much larger than it appears. Interesting menu for lunch, good food, reasonable service. None of our party tried them, but some good looking tapas. Definitely be back.
