I sometimes spontaneously decide to have a late lunch, early dinner and want a no fuss experience. Today was one of those days and I brought the family to cafe Renoir and it was great! If you want good food in beautiful surroundings then you've arrived! You just grab a menu, get seated, then go and order. We had fish... More

Visited at lunch time. We just turned up not having planned to go and we were pleased with the place. We found a varied menu and all reasonably priced. One had the baked potato, one had fish cakes and other had chicken gougons and chips and all were fantastic. You seat yourself and order at the counter, the food arrived... More

Much improved since being renovated. Great decor, but more importantly, food was very nice. I had seafood chowder from lunch menu and was very good. Girlfriend had chicken pasta which looked good too. They also have an evening menu which we would hope to try in future.

Food was cold, looked like it had been cooked hours earlier, it was soggy and the meat fat had turned solid... Part of the food on my dish looked like it had been "recycled" from the leftovers of a previous customer, "rearranged" on a new plate and re-presented. I left most of it untouched and I bet it ended up... More

Great place of a bite to eat, lovely decor with food to match. Love the pizza slice as well as the no carb burger. Find it had to walk past without going in lol

Lovely place, staff and service excellent, has a lite bit and a drink after being to the theatre, and really enjoyed it - and soooo loved the table beside the window (could have taken it home). Good menu, will be back

Popped in for coffee and cake whilst exploring the area. Cracking wee place with great coffee and quite possibly the biggest scones I have ever seen! Available in a variety of flavours. Plenty of other baking on the go too if scones aren't your thing.

An informal cafe with a good menu of sandwiches and hot dishes at a very affordable price. I especially enjoyed a freshly made smoothie. Would go again for a quick lunch.
