Staff were very welcoming, the restaurant was nice inside. Starters were really flavoursome but the main course let the meal down. All four curries we had were very watery and lacked any real flavour. Naan breads were thin and crispy and rice was cold. Also over charged on the bill. Was such a shame.

First time visit to Safa at the weekend (Friday night) and most certainly will not be the last. Pleasant welcome from both servers Hasan & Wesley, who brought us to our table. I expected it to be a lot busier for a Friday evening if I am honest as there were only two other tables dining. Menu had a great... More

We visited Safa last night (Saturday) having read good reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. The welcome was warm, atmosphere good, and the food wonderful. I deliberately tried something different, including the goat tikka which was very succulent and tasty. Would definitely recommend Safa, and intend to visit again.

Spent a lovely night out in the company of friends at Safa last night. Good menu with well matched wine list. This place is a hidden gem tucked away above a pub in Bank Street. From the moment we arrived the ambience and warm buzz emanating from the restaurant said it all - a place filled with happy diners. The... More

Lovely meal at Safa last night. Starters were particularly good - pakoras were light and crispy and full of flavour. As a vegetarian, I was delighted to see a lot of paneer options as well as vegetable versions of most dishes. Everything tasted great, and service was friendly and efficient from start to finish.

We got a gift voucher for a present and thought well we may as well go and use it, this was by far the nicest Indian meal I have had, it took a while getting served but this just proved how much time and effort is put into serving excellent fresh food. The staff were also amazing, friendly, professional and... More

Easy to miss- although we had checked on the map where it was ( close to side entrance to castlecourt). Very friendly staff, best indian restaurant I have ever been in, great authentic dishes (kulfi made from cashew, almond caramelised milk and mango worth trying)

Description
Contemporary Indian cuisine, located on bank street in the heart of Belfast City centre. At Safa we offer authentic Indian recipes and traditional style of cooking. Ali takes great pride in cooking to order and grinding all his own spices so it really is the closest to Indian home cooking you can get. We also have a full bar and incredible wine list.
