Date night with the missus means getting dolled up & heading out for food & drink. We headed to House of Zen following a recommendation from a colleague in work. There's parking in the St. Anne's complex right next to where the restaurant is. Inside we have our booking details & we're soon shown to our table. The menu is... More

The signature menu of the restaurant is an excellent choice to taste a rich and ample variety of great dishes which includes both fish and meat specialties. The atmosphere is smart and relaxing, ideal for both a celebration or a business dinner. It is strongly advisable to book in advance as this place is hugely popular.

I've visited House of Zen numerous times as it is so good. I've visited with friends, with work and with my boyfriend. Their food is always delicious and the service is very good. It offers a unique decor and a variety of seating options. We often take advantage of the lunch special which offers 2 courses for £10. I have... More

Spending 3 days in Belfast, went to House of Zen as we wanted something light before going to see a show, we had main course only, my friend had a filet of beef that was so tender you could cut it with your fork, a side order of an amazing ride and I had some king prawns, same! Delicious. Highly... More

me and my uncle are massive fans and anytime we've been the staff are always SO hospitable and kind, the service quality was just incredible and the food doesn't disappoint at all. We are massive duck fans and this place does one of the best we've ever had. the interior decor is beautiful and really sets the scene for a... More

We choose to eat here last night having previously enjoyed a number of meals at the Zen Restaurant to the rear of City Hall on Linenhall St The atmosphere and menu selection was good but that was were it ended- all chicken dishes have the same core ingredient, which is a very poor quality cut of chicken with a different... Went here for lunch. A dash of cordial was only 45p, which I think was good value for quality cordial. Normally places will do this for free, but if I had to pay then 45p for restaurant quality cordial is a good price. It's also 50ml too, which is more then enough for a pint of cordial. In fact if... We love House of Zen and I've reviewed it before but the food is so good, it deserves another. We visited as part of a group and we were seated quite quickly. We all went for starters and mains. I had the soft shell crab which was gorgeous, crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside with a... More

This place came highly recommended so we were very disappointed to be greeted with "you have to be out by 7.30! " However alway optimistic and only wanting a main course we risked it. Bad idea! I like a Kung PO however I do not appreciate fatty grisly duck, half a dish filled with red and green chillies and a... More
