Stopped on the way home from an event in Belfast with husband, kids (age 14 and 12) and MIL. A few of our choices were all out ( we were there around 6pm) they were very apologetic and we found alternatives. It was great that the kids could dip in and out of the kids menu, I think they're that... More

We had lunch here with a group of friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the food and wines on offer. Some had the croquettes Monsieur and declared it delicious, one had the slow cooked beef with hot buttery champ and the remainder chose the special salad which was warm goats cheese... More

this is a really trendy restaurant and I love the ambience , have been quite a few times but consistency seems to be a problem , love the smashed avocado on toasted sourdough with poached egg but last Saturday this dish was almost unrecognisable ! big chunks of avocado and very poorly presented, I know good staff are hard to... Visited on a Sunday with family. We all looked forward to the Carvery only to find there was none left. The food we ordered was overpriced and basic. Burger was bland, kids portions were very small, suitable for under 5s only. £10 for an adults burger and small side which was scandalous for what you got! Similar experience here with... More

So looking forward to a lovely meal with my grown up kids, placed was packed ( we had already booked a table ) shown to our seat immediately, nice area but...... the place was so crammed with tables too close together you couldn't hear yourself. Food arrived, bread basket, quite nice, mains :- burger & fries, chicken & fries, sea... More

Booked Neills Hill for a recent business lunch for 18 people, from a warm friendly greeting as you enter to amazing food and service, I cannot think of a negative thing to say about this restaurant. Previous gatherings at other establishments have been so so when catering to larger crowds, but not Neills Hill. Service was great and friendly, the... More

Family visit to Neills Hill, popular with families of all ages, everyone from wee one's having birthday parties to grandpa's. Nicest piece of fish I have had in a long time, good selection of bottle ales. Staff very chatty and friendly. Our waiter had a suberb waxed tash, that would make Mutley a proud side kick!
