We went to Tedfords as a family and were very happy with the food. We go out eating regularly and were looking forward to it as I heard good reviews from colleagues. We were not dissappointed and the waiters were attentive without being theatrical (not like the restaurant down the OXford road, which was dissapointing gastronomically despite their flourishing). The... More

Had been wanting to have a meal here for years and finally got my chance on Saturday night. Most of the staff were very nice and we kept them very busy as we were with a very large party. Before we had our starters we were presented with some very nice bread but it was sliced so thinly that we... More

30 members of Holywood Fine Dining Club visited this lovely restaurant on Wednesday 30 November 2016. The menu was varied and had plenty of choice for all. I personally had lamb rump beautifully cooked. The sticky toffee pudding was wonderful, if very calorific. The service for a large party was excellent, prompt and no-one was kept waiting. Congratulations to the... More

No reservation on a Saturday night so we stopped by on the off-chance. We lucked out. The hostess made us feel very welcome in this upscale restaurant. A few had the fish du jour (cod in this case), two had the monkfish and I had the lamb rump roast. All excellent. The little accoutrements on the plate offered excellent counterpoints... More

Haven't been this year but have been on many occasions. It is amazing . I don't know where to start. I can only say that you must try. You may think it to be a bit on the expensive side but trust me it is worth every penny. Give it a go. You will love it. As I do.

Have eaten in Tedfords on several occasions and food has always been outstanding. We are normally going on to an event in SSE arena and a special early bird menu is available for this. Their spring rolls are Devine - not spring rolls as we know them! I have also had risotto and was really impressed by the fabulous flavour... More

My wife and I dined here a couple of weeks ago as we wanted fish and what better place to eat fish!! I had the Asian style monkfish and my wife had the cod. Two dishes for £41 sounds a lot but when one sees the construction of the dishes it makes sense. Very highly recommended and you will have... More

Visited again on a Saturday night recently, we had requested a specific table when booking and were pleased to see that that was done for us. The main courses were again fantastic, i had Monkfish curry [as i have the previous 3 times here] and my partner had the turbot, this was the only time i have had food envy... More

The food we had was lovely and the service good. The place itself is cozy and warm but the menu is a bit limited in our opinion. There are less than a handful of options of mains and only one that is a fish main (apart from the catch of the day). So if you are specifically looking for a... More

Cannot comment on food. Looked at menu and that was enough for us to run for it. On a Saturday night there was a choice of 4 main courses. Why?? Wine was way over priced. £45 for a chablis. Yeah right. When I see £28 for a steak and the table mat is one of those rubber jobs. Mgt get... More
