Visited here for my mothers birthday for the pre theatre menu and was extremely disappointing. The menu was lacklustre, food was mediocre and service although prompt slightly rude and condescending our beef which said to be served pink was in fact not pink at all. The food portions were tiny. One of our party ordered desert and when it came... More

A Thursday night in Belfast, approx 12 in the restaurant so abnormally quiet night for this restaurant. To compensate the staff insisted on having the music at a high volume which made it difficult to communicate with the other three members of my party. The people serving us lacked a bit of charm and personality but this was more than made up... More

I have just returned from an evening meal at Tedfords: this was once my favourite restaurant, however after this evenings experience I will not be back! After an enthusiastic greeting from the waiter who received us on arrival, it was all downhill. It took a very long time for anyone to come and take a coat to the cloakroom, then... More

Very good menu, expecting great flavour and taste, but not quite, although the monk fish was very well cooked. Good service though 👍

We had pre theatre menu, £25 for three courses, I got black pudding which was like a up market sausage roll, tiny bit disappointed, but the chowder was excellent. but the main more than made up for that, lamb and garlic mash, wow was it good. We finished with an espresso and plum cake, will be back.

Went as a large group on Saturday night. Food was poor. Luke warm and very over seasoned. No side orders offered by waiting staff at any point. Bad food surpassed only by the appalling waiting staff. Rude, smug and unhelpful. Will never be back. The poor staff appears to be a common thread on the reviews....

This was just a five minute walk away from this restaurant which is not large and the menu choice is small, which often means excellent food. The food was very well presented and quite tasty. A few unusual flavours which worked well. Service was OK but not perfect. There was not much atmosphere in the restaurant which is a shame.

Having made a point of asking for a special, table to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary I was surprised to be put at the back of the restaurant in the dark in a table near the toilets with no tablecloth . Given that the restaurant was hale empty this was difficult to explain . I ordered the cod brandade and the... More
