I went to Cocos on the 19th November with my wife and another couple. Quite busy but by no means full. Food was decent but the guy who served us was abrupt and disinterested. I spoke to the MD who apologised and said the guy had a sore throat - which begs the question why was he serving food in... More

We dined here early on a Saturday as part of a group of 17. Despite eating from the pre theatre menu the choice and quality of food was exceptional. I really couldn't fault it and I am often quite hard to please. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars is because of the really awful garish art... More

We are a mature couple who went on Friday 11 November for pre theatre menu. Staff were polite and friendly and food was excellent. I ordered a starter which I did not like due to not reading the menu properly. My fault, but he cost was deducted from the bill. Drinks, wine and coffee were also great and all was... More

What a great place for lunch after city centre shopping . We both had the salt and chilli squid for stater which was superb the salad is bursting with coriander and chilli with crispy veg and complemented the crisp chilli with a lemon & saffron mayo. My main was hake with capers, shrimp served with roasted beets and beetroot purée... More

Popped in here for lunch solely because of their specials board. I had the venison sausage; my wife had the smoked haddock. It was a lunchtime special for only £6.95 and it was outstanding. The portions were amble and the taste was outstanding! The decor and ambience in the place was classy. Service was spot on. Will be back for... More

Arrived here on Sunday for dinner after reading good reviews on Tripadvisor, and was not disappointed. The restaurant is large and was not very busy. The young guy who served us was polite and chatty. The décor was bright with a very unusual theme running through the artwork on display(I wont spoil it by telling). The menu on offer was... More

Two of the best dishes I've ever tasted. Salt chill venison tender full of flavour beautifully spiced. The miso cod was excellent probably the best cooked piece of cod I've eaten in years the fish was just translucent and the flavour was so good I can taste it as i write this. Staff very attentive. Very relaxed evening highly recommend.
